Winemaker

Steven Baraglia

Growing up in Williamstown the wine industry was always a big part of Steve’s life. Throughout his childhood Steve was always involved in working in his family’s small vineyard. After obtaining his winemaking degree at Adelaide University, Steve undertook a winemaking position at Pikes Wines in the Clare Valley just prior to the 2003 vintage.

In 2006 with his now wife Laura purchased a small vineyard in Sevenhill, in the heart of the Valley. Steve believes that wine is created in the vineyard with various viticultural practices used to achieve balanced vines that produce Naked Run Wines. Steve loves to drink aged Riesling and the Clare Valley does it very well.
