2017 The First Riesling – Its here!!!

The much anticipated release of the 2017 The First Riesling is here and will definitely not disappoint. With its predecessors taking out numerous trophies, gold medals and awards the 2017 just needs time to be seen and it too will be sure to be a winner. Not only have ‘experts’ rated this wine extremely highly, Naked Run fans and Riesling drinkers look forward to the crisp and fresh characteristic flavours found in this wine.  

The 2017 vintage was potentially one of the best in the last 15 years, up there with the great 2012 especially for the Clare Valley Rieslings. The growing season was cool with good winter and spring rains encouraging lovely canopy development. The lead up to harvest was mild and dry allowing great flavour development, seeing a delicate fine limey, perfume floral wine created which will age gracefully for many years.

Traditionally The First Riesling sells out well before the next vintage is available, so get in quick to make sure you do not miss out.
